My Miraculous Instant Pot
I wrote in a post a while back that I would write about my Instant Pot…
You can read that post here!
Now is the time to give this beauty the time that it deserves!
As you can imagine, life here is VERY hectic.
Imagine having something that makes cooking easy and less time-consuming???
Well, I’m here to tell you that such a thing exists🎉🎉🎉 The Instant Pot!
This post contains an affiliate link at NO extra cost to you… for more info, check out my disclosure page here.
This thing has SO MANY different functions. The one I have has 7 functions, that’s a lot of functions 😮 (truth be told, I haven’t used all 7).
So you may be wondering if this is suitable for you? And I have a few questions to help you decide:
1. Is your life hectic?
2. Do you want your food cooked fast?
3. Would it be beneficial to have less washing up?
4. Do you want to be able to walk away from the stove without fear that your food will burn?
If you have answered YES to any of these questions, then the Instant Pot is DEFINITELY for you.
Please don’t think that you can’t/shouldn’t get it because you don’t yet have children.
Life is busy in different ways for everyone and we all want easy wins, so don’t exclude yourself.
The Instant Pot is so popular and I can see why. It makes life that much easier.
I bought my Instant Pot in 2017 right before they went out of stock EVERYWHERE!!
Since then, there have been several different upgrades and more functions added.
They come in different sizes, depending on your needs.
There’s a 1.5L (1-2 members)
3L (3-4) members
5.5L (5-7 members)
7L (7-10 members)
We have the 5.5L because we like to make food in bulk. It makes things easier for us (me).
In the beginning, it takes a while to get used to how it all works, but, once used a few times then it becomes 2nd nature.
We are plant based/vegans so, our food may be very different to yours. I used it just today to make sweet potato for my boys.
It was quick and no waiting for the boil. Just leave the room and wait for the beep.
All types of food can be cooked in the Instant Pot. I recently made yoghurt (one of the settings).
I’ve made stews, rice, oatmeal, cornmeal porridge, soup, apple sauce, lasagne soup (yeah, I mean soup 😊), chickpeas, quinoa, steamed veg, bulgar wheat and many more things.
A great thing about the Instant Pot is that there are numerous support Facebook groups, for recipes, advice and help.
I am part of a vegan group, with members worldwide so, there is lots of variety.
Of course the internet and YouTube have great stuff too if you ever need inspiration.
What are you waiting for??
Be smart and choose the Instant Pot that suits you. You can thank me later.

The Instant Pot isn’t just another gadget, it’s several gadgets in one! It’s easy, healthier, quicker with no waiting around and less washing up.
